Imia is a thoughtful & extremely compassionate Soul in addition to being a very talented massage therapist! Imia is the bomb! She gets right to the source of my overuse injuries and hard worked muscles. I appreciate that she uses active stretching as she works the knots out. She’s often checking in and asking preferences. What a great massage therapist! I’ll be back for sure.

Imia Holston is a transplant to Portland, OR from Chicago, Illinois. On January 1st, 2018 she moved to the Pacific Northwest specifically to attend massage school at East West College of the Healing Arts.

Since completing her 800-hour certification and earning licensure, Imia has worked as an employee at Elevate Wellness + Chiropractic in SW John's Landing, as well as an Independent Contractor providing mobile in-home + event massage around Portland.

Imia’s touch blends accuracy with intuition. Deep soothing strokes guide her to problem areas which she then treats effectively utilizing trigger point, neuromuscular and deep tissue techniques.

Imia alleviates both chronic and acute pain. Her education has focused on the body, with pursuit of an undergraduate degree in physical therapy from Howard University in Washington D.C. and now her massage licensure in Oregon.

Imia’s grounded and nurturing presence is sure to have your body relaxed and feeling at ease throughout the session.
